Ontario Time Machine - Digital Scavenger Hunt Contest Winners!

Students from across Ontario participated in two contests, winning digital cameras, MP3 players and pizza gift cards. The winners of our first contest (2008) used the Time Machine to research projects. The winners of our second contest (2009) went on a digital scavenger hunt using really old Ontario books. Now, you can too!

First contest: History comes to life (2008)

We invited grade 7 and 8 history students from across Ontario to make their own history with the Ontario Time Machine. Our winners (Paris from Hamilton and Rebekah from Kitchener) chose the books they liked best, and found ways to bring history to life with baking and diary-writing projects.

Second contest: Digital scavenger hunt (2009)

Students from across the province answered five questions. The names of people who submitted correct answers went into a draw. Here are the winners:

Grand prize: digital camera
